Privacy Policy

This is the Shadowrocket website and official manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you browse shadow-nodes.com. It does not replace the privacy information that applies to the Shadowrocket app or the App Store.

1. Scope and Service Boundaries

This site uses static pages to provide authenticity checks, purchase information, and setup guides. It has no user registration, sign-in, comments, or email collection forms. You can read the manual without providing your name, phone number, or payment details. This policy covers browsing and interacting with this site; it does not cover connections made within the app or their communications.

The guides assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions, and does not collect those details for configuration. A one-time purchase of the client is not a service plan; buying the app and using a network service independently are separate matters.

2. Access Data and Analytics

When your browser requests a page, the hosting and network services may generate access logs containing the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and device information provided by your browser. These technical data help deliver pages, diagnose errors, and analyze unusual traffic; they should not be understood as a personal profile submitted by you.

This site uses analytics to understand page readership, device types, and how visitors arrive, so we can improve the manual and mobile experience. If you click the App Store button on the download page, one store-link click event is recorded. This does not indicate that a purchase was completed and does not include payment results or account details.

Do not include subscription links, passwords, or other credentials in page URLs, query parameters, or feedback. How analytics records and access logs are handled depends on the actual deployment configuration. This policy makes no unverified claims about the degree of anonymization or a fixed retention period.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Static pages do not necessarily mean that browsing involves no storage. Whether analytics writes cookies, which identifiers it uses, and how long they remain depend on the analytics configuration. Page interaction state may also be retained in URL fragments or browser storage; a section location in the URL is not itself a cookie.

This site does not require subscription addresses, server passwords, or payment details to be saved in browser storage. You can view, restrict, or delete cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings. Clearing them may reset saved page preferences. Restricting analytics scripts may also make visit records incomplete, but the page content remains available as static content.

4. App Store and External Data Handling

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store is the only place to purchase and install it: App Store product page. The page is operated by Apple. After you leave this site, account sign-in, payment, purchase history, and related data processing are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies, not handled by this site.

This site cannot access your purchase history or payment details from a single click on the App Store link. When your browser redirects, it may pass referral information according to its referrer policy. Check the App Store page for the current price, system requirements, and general purchase availability. For information about the app's own data handling, consult the product page and the app.

5. Policy Updates and Help

If site features, analytics methods, or the scope of data handling change, this page will be revised and the month shown at the top updated. Because this site does not collect email addresses, policy changes are published here rather than sent individually by email. On your next visit, check the update notice and relevant terms.

For help with purchase checks and setup, see the FAQ or Getting Started guide to determine whether your issue concerns browsing this site, using the app, or a store transaction. When documenting an issue, remove subscription addresses, QR code contents, passwords, and account details; include only the relevant interface terms and a description of what happened.
